The colony counter is a digital, semi-automatic bacterial testing instrument. It consists of a counter, probe, and counting chamber. The counter is designed and manufactured using CMOS integrated circuits. The counting chamber features a deep black background with side illumination from an energy-saving ring fluorescent lamp, ensuring clear colony contrast. According to bacterial counting testing procedures, the instrument display is designed for three digits. When the colony count in a petri dish exceeds 300, the sample should be diluted and repeated to ensure accurate counting. This instrument reduces the workload of laboratory personnel, improving efficiency and work quality.
