The colony counter is a digital, semi-automatic bacterial testing instrument. It consists of a counter, probe, and counting chamber. The counter is designed and manufactured using CMOS integrated circuits. The counting chamber features a deep black background with side illumination from an energy-saving ring fluorescent lamp, ensuring clear colony contrast. According to bacterial counting testing procedures, the instrument display is designed for three digits. When the colony count in a petri dish exceeds 300, the sample should be diluted and repeated to ensure accurate counting. This instrument reduces the workload of laboratory personnel, improving efficiency and work quality. It is widely used for testing bacterial counts in food, beverages, pharmaceuticals, biological products, hygiene products, drinking water, industrial wastewater, and clinical specimens.
